Our Story
Faithful in Gaines since 1992
Our church began humbly, in the garage of a local family's home, where a small group of believers gathered for prayer, fellowship, and the study of Scripture.
Pastor Louis Canaday and his wife, Teresa, have shepherded this church family for over thirty years, with a deep love for God’s Word and for people.

What We Believe

We are an Independent Baptist church that holds the Bible as our final authority in all things. Our aim is simple: to know Christ and to make Him known.

The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily the third day. He ascended to Heaven and will personally return for His church.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers to live a holy life.
